First of all, in case you were wondering, we made it to Houston safe and sound.
Second, Carson saw many of you on our road trip, including his family here in Houston. And on several occasion I head about how much weight Carson had gained. Well we just got back from the Vet and I wanted to let you all know that in fact, Carson HAS NOT gained weight…he is down! In fact, he lost 7 lbs from his previous high of 93 lbs. We still have a long way to go, but Carson was felling pretty good about himself when we left the vet this morning.

I am, of course, very proud of Carson’s achievement in the weight loss department. He looks fantastic! I do, however, have to wonder if not eating and vomiting all the gummy bears, cat food, venison and other travel goodies may not have also played a part in this achievement? Just a thought.
