Today is the day we find out if Julie aggressive chemo treatment has been working.  It has actually been a really long weekend.  Our good friend Nancy came in town to visit and on Friday, Nancy and I babysat the kids (Hallie, Jackson & Kendall) all day while Julie & Brendan were at the hospital having all kinds of tests done (the results of which they get today).  Nancy and I also kept the kids that night so they could go to dinner and movie.  Figured they needed a night out and we hoped it would take their mind off the long weekend of waiting.  Needless to say our Friday started at 6 a.m. and we did not get home until midnight…we were exhausted!  Who knew chasing after 3 kids all day could be so exhausting. (So much respect for you parents…no idea how you do it.)  But we had a great time with the kids.  They are just so darn cute!

Anyway, this is just a quick post asking everyone to pray for good news.  They deserve it.  I am a bit apprehensive about today as last time when we got the devastating news I really wasn’t expecting it.  Julie seemed to be doing so well, I thought for sure it was working.  And here we are 6 weeks later, and Julie seems to be doing so well.

I pray every day, I only hope he hears me this time.
