A Prayer

Quick post.  Tomorrow is a big day for us. Julie has her brain surgery.  I know all will go well, but I am asking for a few extra prayers.  Please pray to bring strength and courage to her and Brendan tomorrow.  Also please pray that Julie is soon provided a sense of calm and peace as she undergoes the procedure and that God will guide the surgeon’s hands so that the surgery goes smoothly.

A colleague of mine provided Julie and me with some great insight today.  She basically told us the same thing that the hit book The Secret talks about.  If you think it, if you believe it, if you visualize it, it will be the truth.  She told us about Proverbs 18:21 which declares that death and life are in the power of the tongue.  So we must now change our prayers over to saying, “Lord, thank you for healing Julie.”  We have the power.

I thought it was fantastic.  (She provided us with so much more insight then that, but too much to share with you on this quick note.)

No surprise — we’re both thinking about Julie tonight. I just posted about them on my blog too.

Good thoughts, Kerber. I’m currently finishing that book.

Look forward to seeing you soon. Hugs –
