It looks like Julie is going to stay until Saturday, maybe Sunday.  However, the great news is, they have put in the paperwork to start the next round of Chemo this Saturday!  Julie is looking forward to this next round of treatment, and is still enjoying having all that fluid out of her lungs.

Thanks to all you platelet donors. I had no idea so many of you did it on a regular basis.  I am unable to give blood due to getting Hepatitis in Intermediate school (sorry to all of you who had to go get wasn’t my fault, we all got it on vacation!  Don’t worry, its not the kind that is terminal or spreads…just the kind that doesn’t allow me to donate my blood.)

Please keep sending you up your prayers for Julie, Brendan and especially the kids.  They are doing a great job of trying to adapt to Mom and Dad unexpectedly being gone all week.

P.S.  In response to some of your questions, I am in town until Sunday, but plan to be back in the Great State of Texas by the end of October.  You know me, just can’t get enough of the heat and humidity (which is actually true, as it gets cold in D.C., it makes me really miss Hot Houston!)
